On the morning of Friday 18 to Saturday 19 December, the snow showed up in our villages and mountains.

The Red Font highway was also closed and there were serious difficulties for the movement of eight kilometers from the CV-70, near Benilloba, as well as National Highway 340 to the height of Muro de Alcoy, snow. The Emergency Coordination Center of the Generalitat declared snow alert yesterday in Alicante and Valencia to the risk that new rainfall may occur today as snow as low as 400 meters above sea level (drawing an imaginary line north from Xixona and Elda).
